Our learners make us:

Ibrahim did very well at his FET college: proudly associated with MATHSLINK

They make us understand what services they receive from their respective schools.

A such, we are aware of

  1. The huge task that teachers at these respective schools do so diligently, given their Multiple roles as
    1. parent,
    2. police,
    3. social worker,
    4. curriculum expert,
    5. extra-mural activist
    6. Conduit between
      1. Department of education on one hand and learners on the other
      2. Department of education on one hand and parents on the other
  2. The responsibility that so many learners take upon themselves, specifically to ensure that
    1. They continue to make their parents proud
    2. They are excellent role models for
      1. their siblings,
      2. their community their peers
      3. younger learners
      4. their family members like
        1. younger cousins,
        2. adopted younger siblings, etc.
  3. Our learners also provides us with their own individual interpretation of the mathematical problems they are faced with
