Thanks to Alwyn Olivier, a new category has been developed in the MATHSLINK pages. The story started like this: Don Katz sent a message on Alwyn's Face book page. I had requested where Prof. Piet Human was. Alwyn came back to me and wanted to know what I was doing. I referred back to MATHSLINK's address and he then commented on my family tree. That to me qualified myself as possibly worthy to invite him as a friend. More humbling was his immediate positive response. MATHSLINK is going to request formally that we rename the friends of MATHSLINK page the Alwyn Olivier page. We still need permission for that. |
