Books

Books, like animals are our best friends. They provide great opportunities for all to learn. We at MATHSLINK is of the firm belief that bookshelves and libraries need to grace the interior of every dwelling, irrespective where you find yourself.

The reading of books are means by which many should eventually be more accomplished. To package any idea in the form of a book is literally to immortalise such ideas. MATHSLINK understands this, knowing also that the world is dynamic, technology grows, sentiments evolve, and even Mathematics is also subject to change over time.

Books on Technology, Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy and the Mathematical Sciences are often rejected by many. It is quite typical to say: "I do not understand what is going on in this book of mathematics". Yet, on the other hand, we would easily pick up an English novel, and read it precisely because you do not know what is in it!

Books of Mathematics need to inspire everyone to engage them in the same way that ordinary people see English novels.


Needless to say, MATHSLINK has co-written a variety of books to date. For example, we have a Grade 10 Mathematics book that was co-authored.

Planning documents
Planning is a major key to success.

Without planning, life is potentially a tail-chasing, frustrating existence.

Planning has three levels:

  • large-,
  • medium-and
  • small scale.

This may mean:

  2. medium term and
  3. short term.

Clearly all three levels of planning is required, irrespective of your field of work.
